About this video
To solve systems of equations by substitution simplify the equation to isolate one variable. It doesn't matter which one but let's use x. Next, substitute that equation into the variable x of the second equation and solve for the other variable, in this case y. Once you have y, just plug it in to either equation and solve for x.
