Do Greeks🇬🇷🇬🇷 speak fast?
My students always say that. And I'm thinking : Is there any native speaker of any language who doesn't speak "fast" or better ... normal?

Can you imagine how fast sound to me chinese, japanese, spanish or urdu?

Same with greek. The only thing you can do to understand better is to practice your listening skills.

You can use plenty of material: slow, normal, fast.
Just listen! Everyday!

In this video we have 4 examples of how Greeks may sound "fast" in some simple and easy phrases.

1. "Φχαριστώ" instead of " ευχαριστώ". (Please, never write this word)

2. "Μ'αρέσει" instead of "Μου αρέσει"
3. "Τι ' ν' αυτό; "instead of "Τι είναι αυτό;"
4. "Θα 'ρθω σήμερα" instead of "θα έρθω σήμερα".
