Skegness's Red Lion Pub Gets a Major Makeover 🏗️

Work is underway to expand a historic pub in Skegness and return it to its former glory.<br />The renovation of the Red Lion will see the Wetherspoons pub closed for around six weeks.<br />Formerly Lion Hotel, the pub dates back to 1881 It became two units in 1984 the Lumley Road frontage of the lion was converted into shops.<br />During construction, the two units will become joined once again. Plans are to hark back to the building’s evolution as the Red Lion Pub and Hotel.
