I actually put this one off when I first began making these to deal with Adam S's death, because despite it being one of my favorite songs I'm pretty sure it's more a Collingwood creation than a Schlesinger one. I just finally decided I was going to make it anyway, if only for me.
FoW lyrics videos are deceptively difficult to place. The mix of the syncopation and harmony makes a lot of the lyrics seem slightly off even when they aren't, and sometimes they actually seem better when I give in and put them on the down beat instead of where they technically hit. Yeah, I know. WGAF? ☺️
THIS IS A GREAT SONG. It will get stuck in your head and you will always, always be glad that it's stuck.
It's been over a year, but still: R.I.P. Adam.
