About this video
It felt like a scene from the movie and everything was perfect!
Biggest thank you @anjju_tomar Masi for everything!
@taniisha_garg @desert.inker for the mehandi
@senoritasimon for hair and makeup ❤︎
All our friends who could be a part of this celebration and our families!
Context: Mohak and I are currently pursuing our master’s in Canada, which means our schedules only allow us to plan our wedding during the brief window after our exams, starting mid-December. However, as per the Hindu calendar, there are no auspicious wedding dates between December 15 and January 15, making it challenging for us to align the timing for the next two years.
The date suggested by our Panditji for our wedding was December 6, but unfortunately, we knew we wouldn’t be in India by then due to our studies. Understanding this, my mom wanted us to visit a nearby temple in Canada on 6th December to have a small ceremony to mark the occasion.
Since having a traditional wedding ceremony in Canada can be quite expensive (especially if you hire proper Pandits), and given that we’re already planning to invest significantly in our bigger wedding in India, we decided to keep this ceremony short, sweet, and simple.
So stay tuned—there’s going to be a lot of wedding content soon 😅
