In a loud voice Jesus spoke, <br />The people’s interest to evoke, <br />“Whoever believes me, <br />Believes Him also, who sent me.” <br /> <br />“Like this, whoever sees me, <br />Also sees Him, who sent me. <br />As a light, I’ve come here. <br />So, in darkness, you’ll not fear.” <br /> <br />“If my words, you don’t obey, <br />I’ll not judge you, any day. <br />I came to save this world <br />And not judge its kind.” <br /> <br />“Whoever rejects me <br />And does not accept me <br />Or the message of mine <br />God only will judge him then.” <br /> <br />“The words I’ve spoken <br />They’re not really mine, <br />But He, who has sent me <br />To speak so, commands me.” <br /> <br />“It’s His authority that speaks. <br />It’s His will that commands. <br />It’s His word that prevails. <br />On the last day, He only judges.” <br /> <br />Every word Jesus spoke <br />Was meant to awake <br />Their self-confidence, <br />And their sub-conscience. <br /> <br />But how far did it work? <br />Or how far did it provoke? <br />The later events only told, <br />How it changed the world? <br /> <br />Unmindful of his own life, <br />His concern for every life, <br />It revealed his selflessness, <br />And his high spirit of sacrifice.<br /><br />Simple Simon<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/j46-judgment-by-jesus-words/
