Silence from Other WTO Members During Seoul-Tokyo Trade Dispute

South Korea and Japan clashed over the issue of Tokyo's export restrictions at a WTO meeting in Geneva on Wednesday,... but no other member countries got involved in the issue.<br />At the meeting, attended by some 160 countries, Seoul and Tokyo made remarks in turn, but no other countries spoke out to support either side.<br />Key members able to mediate the issue, including the U.S.,...stayed tightlipped during the heated talks.<br />Only the chairperson of the meeting mentioned that he hoped the two sides can find middle ground, considering the stark differences between the two.<br />
