Shocking Footage Shows China Bridge Collapse

Rescue operations went through the night after an overpass collapsed in Wuxi City of east China's Jiangsu Province on Thursday.

Wuxi police confirmed that three passengers were killed, and two others were injured in the accident.

An analysis by the Department of Transportation of Jiangsu Province said that the cause of the collapse was an overloaded truck.

The truck was loaded with 187 tons, while the maximum allowed load is 65 tons. When the truck drove over the pass, resonance occurred due to the overload, causing the overpass to collapse.
