Shiv Sena UBT’s Priyanka Chaturvedi hits out at Adipurush makers for “pedestrian dialogues”

Om Raut’s mythological drama Adipurush has sparked a fresh debate in India. Citing movie’s “pedestrian dialogues,” Shiv Sena UBT leader Priyanka Chaturvedi sought public apology from filmmakers. <br /><br />Meanwhile, Adipurush’s ‘inappropriate’ dialogues and ‘weak’ visual effects have triggered a meme fest on Twitter. From lampooning graphics to cancelling tickets, various Twitter users took to the micro-blogging site to criticise the movie. <br /><br />However, Adipurush dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir has still not given any justification and continues to celebrate film’s ‘divine victory’.<br /> Helmed by Om Raut, and Produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana and features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan. <br /><br />The movie is released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. <br />
