Shaye Cohn's Embouchure & Big Sound 🎺

Shaye Cohn is the best New Orleans Jazz Cornet player alive today. This video is for Trumpet and Cornet players can take a look at where the magic is coming from. Embouchure is a very tough subject in brass players. I am amazed at her control and the dark sound she gets. The other thing is she does not play music. The paper on the floor is a list of the songs that she can pick for the band. Shaye is now playing on a Vintage Bach 184SML Stradivarius Series Bb Cornet. I asked her what mouthpiece she was using and she did not know. She had to look. She said that it was what came with the horn. It was a Bach 7C. Shaye Cohn is amazing!
