Science Fiction Theatre is an American science-fiction anthology series syndicated and broadcast from 1955 to 1957. It was produced by Ivan Tors and Maurice Ziv. A total of 78 episodes was produced.<br />Opposite to what happened during the 1950s, the first season was filmed in color, but to cut production costs, the second season was filmed in black-and-white. <br />Science Fiction Theatre was a predecessor to later science-fiction anthology shows such as The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits.<br />Episode 8 of the first season: Spider Inc<br />A young geologist discovers an ancient spider enclosed in a piece of transparent rock.
