CQT Online Talks β Series: Inaugural lectures
Speaker: Charles Lim, CQT and Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, NUS
Abstract: It can be said that cryptography is the art of protecting private information in the presence of adversaries. Quantum cryptography can take modern cryptography to the next level, offering protection not only against quantum adversaries but also when the underlying crypto-devices are untrustworthy. In this presentation, we will cover various aspects of quantum cryptography, from the security of applied quantum key distribution, quantum random number generation, to measurement-device-independent quantum key distribution and device-independent quantum cryptography.
