A recent cyber-attack on one company, Colonial Pipeline, shut down nearly half of the U.S. East Coast’s fuel supply for five days. This shutdown, initiated by the cybercriminal group DarkSide, has brought the reality of the fast-worsening ransomware situation back into the limelight.
