Secure Your Videos with Visual Cryptography Using Centertracker Deluxe 🔒

if you want to share confidential information publically in a video message you can easily encrypt your video with Centertracker deluxe. The video will become totally distorted so that nobody except the person you want to share it with will be able to make head or tail of the images. You simply choose a set of values and secretly hand them out to anyone who needs the information.

The theoretical number of combinations for a video with the dimensions of 720 x 576 (DVD) for example is 12268031975831920390963200000. Not all will make the video completely invisible but the number of useful combinations will still be very large and make it almost impossible to make the video information visible without the numbers.

To decrypt the video you can use either Centertracker deluxe or decryptor, a freeware tool that can be downloaded here:

Of course if you compress the video there will be quality loss. Therefore the video in this example has been encoded with Xvid compression. For the highest quality (target quantizer 1.00) there will be almost no difference. With a higher compression factor (here: target quantizer 4.00) some information gets lost (as seen in the video). If you don't use any compression there will be absolutely no loss of data, i.e. decryption delivers 100% of the original video.
