Secure Your Files with AES Encryption in CrypTool 2 🔐

I was asked several times, how to encrypt (and decrypt) files securely using CrypTool 2. Therefore, in this video, I explain how to encrypt/decrypt files using CrypTool 2. We use the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) cipher for encryption and decryption. To create a cryptographic key based on a password we use the HKDF key derivation function. In the end of the video, we have three different CT2 workspaces: 1) for text en- and decryption, 2) for file encryption, and 3) for file decryption.
