About this video
This season, me and my scything team have mowed around 40 hectares (100 acres). However, we don’t usually mow big and flat areas like this. Most of our work is done in nature reserves, marshes, and meadows where machines cannot or may not be used. In these places the scythe is very effective and the grass is very easy to rake and collect afterwards.
