He immediately drove to Goa to sit with his son and discuss the issue. Following that conversation, Sanju returned to his natural batting style, modelled after Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid, whom he had followed since childhood. Vishwanath credits Zubin Bharucha and the Rajasthan Royals management for nurturing Sanju's talent from age 17, emphasising he fulfilled his duty as a father rather than making sacrifices.
