France Denies Pressure Over G7 Invite Decision 🇫🇷

* France did not come under any pressure over its decision to not invite South Africa to a G7 summit in June, according to the country's foreign minister Jean-Noel Barrot.

* United States President Donald Trump announced that he will pause attacks on Iran's energy plants for 10 days at Tehran's request and said talks with Iran were going "very well," although an Iranian official dismissed a U.S. proposal for ending the conflict as "one-sided and unfair."

* National Police Commissioner, General Fannie Masemola could be facing four counts of charges in relation to his alleged failure to comply with provisions of the Public Finance Management Act.

* Prominent lekompo musician, Lehlogonolo Chauke, popularly known as Shebe Maburna, will this morning appear in the Polokwane magistrate's court for a trial court date. Shebe Maburna has been in custody since his arrest in November last year.
