Yeltsin Supports Kiriyenko as Prime Minister 🇷🇺

Russian President Boris Yeltsin said Monday (13/04) he was steadfast in his backing for Sergei Kiriyenko as Prime Minister despite parliament's rejection of him in a first parliamentary vote. Yeltsin also hinted that some ministers proposed by parties in the Duma would be included in the new government. Yeltsin was speaking during his meeting with the chief of border troops Nikolai Bordyuzha.
