Runners rise early for Mother’s Day fun run and cancer fundraiser

Runners were up early this Mother’s Day raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research to improve survival rates of the deadly disease. With limited advances in treatment for ovarian cancer and a survival rate of just 49%, this year, runners in the Mother's Day Classic were supporting two causes.
