For as long as humans have been attempting to rule the waves, there have been voyagers lost to mysterious fathoms below. And while Prince Eric was rescued by the Little Mermaid, not all royals who sailed the seven seas have been so lucky. Let’s swim down to the VIP section of Davy Jones’ locker and meet the royals and nobles who lost their lives in shipwrecks. And just to keep you on the edge of the plank, I’ve included a few who were involved in tragic shipwrecks, but made it out alive! So trim the sails, hoist the colors high, and set a course for the past, where we’ll meet 7 royals who died in, or survived shipwrecks!
