There are many version of the Love Story of Preah Thong and Neang Neak. So My Wife and I was Honored to Wear this Traditional Khmer Royal Attire that has an Amazing History.
Preah Thong Kaundinya I / Y Da and Neang Neakii Queen Soma / Y Ga are symbolic personas in Khmer culture.
Our Experience was Truly Amazing! Watching My Wife getting fitted gave me Goosebumps. I can feel the Energy of Happiness and thoughts of History.
The Beautiful Pop of Color and Patterns were Magical. We felt like we in a Movie of protagonist Main Characters. My Wife looked like absolutely Beautiful.
We appreciate the endless time and efforts that it takes to get fitted. This requires a long process of Pleating each folds that Bong Kayliene did on the Clothing. Carefully putting on pinning each on accessories.
To make One Sbai takes over 3-5 Months. Handmade by Experienced Elder Weavers. You can see the hard work that goes into creating this Beautiful Art and History by looking at the Stitching Work, Patterns, and Craftsmanship.
Many people have traveled all over the world to get fitted by Bong Kayliene for Khmer traditional, modern, high fashion, and Wedding Attires. She is Huge Name within her Community and well respected. You see so much of her work at Khmer New Year and at Fashion Show.
