Royal Couple and Baby Prince George Arrive in New Zealand

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and baby Prince George arrived in New Zealand on Monday (April 7), to begin a 10-day tour of the country.<br/> <br />The royals landed in thick fog that caused disruptions to flights in the capital and threatened to see them diverted to a military airfield local media reported.<br/> <br />Catherine, popularly known as Kate, appeared in a bright red pill box hat and coat billowing in the wind as she came down the stairs carrying the baby George.<br/> <br />They were greeted at Wellington Airport by the Prime Minster John Key and his wife Bronagh and the Wellington Mayor Celia Wade-Brown.<br/> <br />Some members of the public braved the weather for a glimpse of the royals as they drove around Wellington's bay to a welcoming ceremony at Government House.<br/> <br />The royals are expected to have a private day on Tuesday (April 8) before beginning a full programme of public events on Wednesday (April 9).
