Rounding Decimal Numbers Explained

This video shows how to round off decimal numbers.

To round off decimal we need to determine the digit in the place value to be rounded off then look the digit to its right if the digit to its right is below 5 round down, if it is 5 and above round up. Then drop all the digits that follow.
To round down just retain the digit in the rounding place. To round up add 1 to the digit in the rounding place.
