This is recording from the dress rehearsal preceding the "Vánoční koncert ze Senátu" (Christmas concert) that QUATTRO Chamber Orchestra gave on 15th December 2009. You are present in the Main Hall of the Wallenstein Palace (Hlavní sál Valdštejnského paláce) at The Lesser Quarter of Prague (Malá Strana). This palace is the seat of the Czech Senate, the upper chamber of the Czech Parliament.
QUATTRO Orchestra played that evening R. Binge, J. Suk - Serenade in E flat major, A. Vivaldi - Sinfonia in G, J. Pachelbel - Canon, W.A.Mozart - Church Sonata, S. Bodorová - Canzonetta d´amore for clarinet and strings and Christmas carols in S. Bodorová adaptation. The soloists of the concert were Zdeněk Plech - bass, Irvin Venyš - clarinet, Pavla Franců - violin and Gabriela Filippi - recitation. Conductor Marek Štilec.
Concert was live recorded by the Czech TV - to be broadcasted on 2nd January 2010 as a festive New Year program (22:35).
