Rod Stewart: You're In My Heart ❤️

This will be the second, of the trio of 45's here on VV.

My feeling is, if you grew up in the 70's, Rod Stewart to some degree or another, was a part of it.

So, when Rod wasn't too busy being photographed with Britt Ekalnd, he managed to take the time to record this fine track. Pretty sure it hit the top 10 in it's day...

Now, this 45 has honestly seen better days and frankly, it's a wee bit rough around the edges (literally). Try your best to focus on Rod.

Today, Rod (minus Britt) is going to be performing this easy listening hit, on a modified Mitsubishi LT-5V. Note how this early 80’s turntable automatically detects the size and speed of the smaller vinyl. Very cool for its day.

The modifications of this particular 5V, were designed by Bruce Evans, with the woodwork itself done by Elsworthy Cabinets, Victoria Street in Kitchener circa 1985. The same building my father formerly sold Tannoy loudspeakers.
