Red Fox Mom Catches Fish, Chickens & More for Her 7 Pups

Mom fox is now bringing lots of prey to the den for her seven fox pups. The pups are almost 5 weeks old and beginning to eat prey. Over two days, she caught (or scavenged) 3 fish, one chicken, and a mole. I was very worried about her catching chickens and did not know where she was getting them from. Thankfully, no one harmed her for taking their chickens.

The pups are still being nursed inside the den, but in the next video, she will begin nursing them outside the den. She does manage to have some peaceful moments with her pups, resting by the den with them before she has to leave to hunt again. It is very cute when they climb on her!

One night, she tries to get them all back into the den, and as soon as she gets one in, another one wanders off. It looks to be a lot of work raising seven fox pups!🦊🦊
