Red Alert Issued in Kerala for Heavy Rain and Strong Winds in Three Districts

Heavy rains have lashed Kerala since Friday night, prompting the IMD to upgrade its alert to Red in Ernakulam, Idukki, and Thrissur. Rivers and dams are swelling, and rough seas have led to a fishing ban along the coasts. More downpours and strong winds are expected over the next 5 days.
