Radio Icon Steve Wright Dies at 69: Tributes Pour In 🎙️

Emotional tributes have been paid to radio legend Steve Wright, who sadly passed away on February 12th, at aged 69. Wright hosted shows on BBC Radio 1 and Radio 2 for more than four decades, and dozens of tributes have been made in remembrance of the much loved disc jockey. Jo Whiley told Radio 4's Today programme that "he was a master of his craft". And Nicky Campbell told Today that Wright "was born to be in a studio".
