Quick 2-Minute Vehicle Key Relearn – Save Time & Money! 🚗

my Friend ccidentally broke the only key that came with my new truck. I knew dealerships could cut a new key based on the VIN. I called Van GMC in Scottsdale, AZ as I usually take the truck there for service. They explained I would need to have the truck towed there, they would hook it up to a computer and $180 later I would have a replacement key. I wasn't happy with any of those requirements so I called Midway Chevrolet which was much closer to my home (if it had to be towed this would be cheaper). Midway told me to come in with proof of ownership and they'd cut a new key and provide instructions on the relearn. $60 and 30 min later, I was restored and will likely avoid Van GMC in the future.
