L/S of the royal family watching as Queen Wilhelmina's gift of 36 horses are paraded around courtyard at Buckingham palace. They are to commemorate the liberation of Holland and the role played by the Household Cavalry, who will use the horses. M/S's of King George VI, Queen Elizabeth (later Queen Mother), Queen Mary, Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II) and Princess Margaret watching. The horses line up and the royal family look at them closely.
