Quantum & Post-Quantum Cryptography: Challenges and Opportunities 🚀

Abstract. In this presentation, the author will discuss the current state-of-the-art in quantum-resistant cryptography. The focus will be on both algorithmic approaches (post-quantum) and physical-layer approaches (quantum), with particular attention to the recently announced cryptographic algorithms by NIST. The presentation will conclude by advocating for a hybrid approach, which oers a path to secure communication in an era dominated by quantum computing and powerful AI.
