In today's QRL Show episode, Michael Strike and Ryan Malinowski from the QRL Core Team cover an episode around the global shift to Post-Quantum security (and the underlying cryptography that lives at the core). Whether or not cryptographically relevant quantum computers ever arrive no longer matters. The standards are changing now.
One of the main takeaways is that NIST is leading and setting the standards, governments around the world are upgrading their security standards in suit with this, and the biggest corporations down to retail all follow. Here at the QRL, we are the only post-quantum secure blockchain running since 2018 using NIST standards.
Currently in Testnet, the evolution of QRL in Project Zond will bring everyone EVM compatibility as we move from PoW to PoS and it will allow anyone on Solidity with the ability to easily forklift their code, tweak the addressing, drop it onto the QRL Zond chain, and be post-quantum secure. It's the first of it's kind that doesn't exist anywhere else...
