Could be because of the same team of artists (KK, Pritam & Sayeed Quadri). More than the original which is sweeter (more romantic) and has more instruments playing, I like the "Power Ballad" which is like 2 notches higher, intense and has moments which are light, slow and then loud! If you pay attention to the lyrics, it's about winning the trust of a person which can take ages but a moment to lose it. It's about winning someones heart, trust and a little respect from someone and then finding reasons why things went wrong..
