Speaking to GB News' Jack Carson, Tony Botteley, owner of The Whippet Inn Micropub in Lichfield said: "There has been a bit of tinkering around the edges with business rate relief, but ultimately the VAT liability for a place like this, to give you an example, I've tripled turnover since I took this place over three years ago, and I'm barely breaking even."
