PS5 Hacked: Limited Run Game Now Worth $500 🎮

A major breakthrough in the PlayStation hacking scene has confirmed a real jailbreak path for PlayStation 5 firmware 12.00 and it all hinges on a limited physical game release. Researchers demonstrated a working exploit chain using Star Wars Racer Revenge, a PS2 Classics disc playable on PS5. A crafted save file triggers the Mastic0re exploit for userland access, which can then be chained with an existing kernel flaw to form a complete jailbreak path.
Because the game is disc-based and firmware-agnostic, demand has exploded, with resale prices reportedly climbing toward $500. This does NOT mean a public one-click jailbreak is coming, but it does confirm higher-firmware PS5 exploitation is now real, not theoretical.
