President for 41 Years and Counting: The Story of Paul Biya of Cameroon

Africa has produced several colors of leaders in the last 70 years since the return of the continent from the colonial powers to native Africans. Some African leaders chose to stay in office for a short period and left their offices on record time. Others remained in office almost forever. One leader in Africa that has remained in office as President from 1982 till this day is, President Paul Biya of Cameroon. At the time of the making of this video, Paul Biya is 90 years old and has been described as the oldest head of state in the world and the longest serving non-royal national leader in the world. In this edition of BIH, we present to you, the story of how Paul Biya rose to power in Cameroon since 1982 and how he has been able to remain in power for an unbroken period of 41 years and counting.
