Powerful earthquake off coast of Japan triggers tsunami warning

A 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of northern Japan Monday, prompting the Japan Meteorological Agency to issue a tsunami alert in the region. Officials urged people to move to higher ground and look out for landslides and additional earthquakes later in the week.
