The confidentiality of modern communication and storage is highly dependent on cryptographic algorithms such as encryptions and digital signature schemes. The development of quantum computers continues to progress. In the future, large-scale universal quantum computers are able to crack all todays’ public-key cryptosystems. In order to resist the threat posed by quantum computing, PQC (Post-Quantum Cryptography) has emerged. Using PQC can resist quantum cryptanalysis. The US government has announced the first selection of PQC algorithms to be standardized. These PQC standards will be implemented and deployed all over the world in the future. The complete PQC algorithms are complicated, so we introduce their principles.
