About this video
Highly acclaimed at the Nandan Shutanuti Film Festival, winning awards for 'Best Director', 'Best Child Actress', and 'Best Social Message'. Follows the story of a little girl Mishti, who is from a well-off family but very lonely. She tries to be friends with Tiya, who is the same age as her but lives in a nearby slum. The two find ways to interact every day, despite their financial and social differences, much to the displeasure of the other members of the house.
Noticing Mishti's distress and change in demeanor upon the forced absence of her friend, her parents take her to a child psychologist, hoping to understand her better, but to no avail. One day as Mishti is heading for her first day of school with her parents in their luxury card, her ID card accidentally falls on the road without her notice. Tiya notices and rushes to pick it up and follows the moving car, desperately running to hand over the card. Mishti's mother notices her and stops the car to scold her for her behaviour, when suddenly to everyone's surprise, Tiya hands over the ID card to Mishti's mother. Mishti's mother gets moved by the girl's commitment and intentions, and upon finding out that she isn't fortunate enough to attend school, takes full responsibility ofTiya's education, which makes Tiya and her mother happy.
