### **Why Should ADHD Individuals Use the Pomodoro Technique?**
For ADHD individuals who have trouble focusing, the **Pomodoro Technique** makes studying more efficient and manageable.
πΉ **Short and Clear Time Blocks** β Fixed-minute study sessions are ideal for those who struggle with long focus periods.
πΉ **Regular Breaks** β 5-10 minute short breaks refresh the mind and boost motivation. A rested brain is the strongest brain!
πΉ **Task Management** β Dividing time into blocks makes tasks less overwhelming and makes it easier to restart studying.
πΉ **Productivity Boost** β And most importantly! Breaking tasks into smaller parts reduces procrastination.
This video offers a real solution to ADHD individuals' main problem: focus and procrastination. If you also have trouble focusing, try the Pomodoro Technique and study more efficiently! β³β¨
How to use this Pomodoro video:
1. Spend the first 10 minutes to tidy up your workspace, grab a snack and a drink, and plan your session. I'd advise to have maximum of one big task or 2-3 small tasks. Break them down into tiny steps on paper so it would be clear what you'll be working on. You can brew your coffee, organize your work area (this is important for focus) and after removing distractions, we are ready!π The first 10 minutes are here for preparation and clarity! πͺ
2. When you hear a gong - it's focus time!
Unplug from the world and focus only on what is in front of you. Let time flow and have a nice focused time.
3. During breaks it's up to you what you choose to do. However, I'd advise standing up and moving around (maybe a lil' stretch?), fill up your water bottle and take a deep breath. We don't want you to get stressed - you deserve a break!
4. After the session - it's time to celebrate. Take this time to congratulate yourself and admire what you've accomplished. π You can also spend some of this time putting things away, and setting intentions for the rest of your day. Enjoy! You've got this! β‘
Congratulate yourself because you deserve it!β‘
