About this video
In this video lesson, you will understand what is and what is not a monomial and/or a polynomial. You will discover how to find degrees of monomials. We will also learn how to write a polynomial in standard form. From there, we will discuss leading coefficients, how to classify a polynomial by the number of terms and how to find the degree of a polynomial. The lesson will then introduce how to use the vertical method and horizontal method to add and subtract polynomials. Student practice is embedded throughout the lesson with modeled exemplars.
