PNM MP NOT SURPRISED BUT UNC MP QUESTIONS EBC

With the next General Election due in 2025, the MP for Lopinot/Bon Air West, who represents the PNM, says he is not surprised by the recommendation of the Elections and Boundaries Commission to rename the constituency to Arouca/Lopinot.<br /><br /><br />Marvin Gonzales says it will not change anything "or present any challenge" there.<br /><br />Meanwhile, the MP for Point-a-Pierre wants to know the EBC's rationale for its recommendation to change the name of the constituency to Claxton Bay, instead of, for example, Claxton Bay/Marabella.<br /><br />Both MPs spoke with Political Editor Juhel Browne.
