PNM Internal Elections: Over 100,000 Members Vote Nationwide 🗳️

Voting for the PNM’s internal elections was carried out across the country today, as over 100,000 party members were eligible for the one-man-one-vote process. <br /><br />While more than a dozen executive positions are up for grabs, the results will only be announced at a PNM convention next week Sunday. <br /><br />The post of political leader was contested unopposed by Opposition Leader Penelope Beckles, but she will be officially appointed as political leader of the PNM at next week’s convention as well. <br /><br />Reporters caught up with Beckles at the Arima Boys Government school today where she voted.
