PM Reflects on Government's Response to Antisemitism 🛡️

The prime minister has been asked why he hasn't acted on antisemitism until the Bondi Beach terrorist attack at a press conference on Thursday where he was announcing tougher hate speech laws.

He says the government "could have always done more".

But when pressed on why he hasn't done more, Mr Albanese said he'd done his best to respond to the terrorist attack.

The prime minister also says the government "fully supports" and adopts antisemitism envoy Jillian Segal's report which was handed down in July.

He also says he would like Ms Segal to be a permanent feature of the landscape of this country.
