PM Modi Inaugurates Noida International Airport ✈️

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the newly constructed Noida International Airport, designed as a major gateway for the Delhi-NCR region. Serving as the second international airport alongside Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, it is one of India’s largest greenfield projects and will integrate with the existing airport to reduce congestion and enhance passenger capacity. Phase-I, developed under a Public-Private-Partnership at a cost of Rs 11,200 crore, has an initial capacity of 12 million passengers annually, scalable to 70 million. The airport features a 3,900-metre runway, modern navigation systems, and advanced lighting for round-the-clock, all-weather operations. It also includes a multi-modal cargo hub with logistics zones to strengthen freight operations. Built with sustainability in mind, it aims to achieve net-zero emissions through energy-efficient and environmentally responsible systems. Its architecture draws from Indian heritage, blending cultural aesthetics inspired by ghats and havelis with modern infrastructure, establishing a world-class aviation facility for Delhi-NCR.
