A telephone conversation was held today between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which President Putin extended congratulations on his re-election by PM Modi. Best wishes for the peace, progress, and prosperity of the Russian people were conveyed by Modi, as reported by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). It was agreed by the two leaders to make concerted efforts towards further strengthening the partnership between the two countries in the years to come.
