Playfair Cipher Algorithm

Playfair cipher is a manual symmetric encryption technique that was the first literal digraph substitution cipher. It was invented by Sir Charles Wheatstone in 1854 and later promoted by Lord Playfair. The algorithm encrypts pairs of letters (digraphs), rather than single letters as in the case of simple substitution ciphers.
