About this video
Photographing Trees and Forests - Landscape Photography in the Field
I recently went out to a local state park in Tennessee to photograph trees and forests. Woodland photography can be difficult sometimes due to the chaos that can clutter a nice woodland composition that you see. The trick to photographing trees and forests (aka woodland photography) is to try to create contrast in your compositions. Now, when I say contrast I'm not talking about a slider in post-processing. Contrast can be the direction of flow, focus, light, or anything else that breaks up the monotony that trees and forest photography can create. In this video, I'll try to do just that; create compelling tree and forest woodland photography with almost no light and very few spring colors to play with. Enjoy this week's landscape photography vlog!
