Philippines' First Michelin-Starred Restaurants: A Historic Culinary Milestone 🇵🇭

Nine restaurants in the Philippines have made history as the first in the country to receive Michelin stars, marking a major milestone for the local dining scene.

This prestigious recognition places them among the best restaurants in the world, celebrated for their exceptional cuisine, mastery of flavor, and outstanding dining experience.

Earning a one Michelin star means the restaurant offers high-quality cooking worth a stop,” while two stars recognize “excellent cuisine worth a detour,“ and the coveted Three Stars honor “exceptional dining worth a special journey.”

Michelin also awarded 25 restaurants with the Bib Gourmand distinction — given to eateries offering good food at good value — and 74 others were listed as Michelin Selected for their quality cooking.
